Our Story
Loyalty Lux Stay is a full-service short-stay rental company that offers modern and well-equipped accommodation for business and leisure travelers. Most interestingly, it is an integral part of NU Transitions Foundation Inc, a new non-profit organization whose sole purpose is to provide housing and services to people who are homeless in the entire Cleveland area and expanding to other states as well.
NU Transitions Foundation Inc was founded in 2020 by Cynthia Destine-Pierre following an intensive strategic planning process with a mission to prevent, reduce, and ultimately end the cycle of homelessness. After scrambling each night for a place to sleep and meeting many people, both men, women, and even children under bridges with nowhere to go, it became clear to Cynthia that homelessness was not a temporary crisis. Cynthia, therefore, promised to come back one day and help all the homeless people. She believes no one deserves to live on the streets. So, she’s come back to fulfill the promise she made to herself.
In doing so, she built a great team to see this succeed. Not only that! We needed ways to generate more funding to achieve our goal, so we launched Loyalty Lux Stay a short-stay rental company that offers top-notch accommodation to those who can afford the luxury. Part of the proceeds we get goes to helping those who need a home and have nowhere to turn to.
Our mission is to significantly reduce homeless by inspiring and empowering people to disrupt negative patterns, build self-esteem, create new visions, and develop sustainable life skills that will put them on the road to stable housing and a productive life.
It is just such a simple thing to give back when you know someone needs it. We believe all people deserve the opportunity to be the best they can be. The homeless are no exception.
This mission is what drives us. It is how we measure our impact.
